AP FA1 Exam Schedule 2022:
The Andhra Pradesh Formative Assessment 1 (FA1) Exams will be held in the months of July and August 2022. The timetables for Primary and Secondary classes are different. FA Marks Allotment
Formative Assessment Marks allotment for Primary Classes
1. Children participation and reflection -10 Marks
- For languages – Read any book other than the textbook and write a report,
- Mathematics – prepare own problems and solutions,
- Science – prepare lab report on an experiment done by him/her
- Social – Express opinions on contemporary issues
2. The project works -10 Marks: Any other suitable tool may be developed by teacher preparation and presentation of Projects, Model making, art, paintings, etc..
3. Written works- 10 Marks: Own expressions in notebooks, field observation, data collection and analysis reports, creative writings, etc..
4. Slip test- 20 Marks: Slip test should be conducted on selected Academic Standards. There is no need to conduct a slip test in a specified timetable like our conventional unit test examinations. It is informal in nature teacher has, freedom to conduct slip test in his regular classroom transaction Total- 50 marks.
Guidelines and Instructions for the AP FA1 Exam:
The following guidelines must be followed when administering the FA I Examination:
a. FA I will be held according to the school readiness syllabus/worksheets provided by the government/first lesson or chapter of the respective topic.
b. The following four tools can be used to evaluate students in areas such as communication, participation, presentation, and aesthetics.
i. Tool 1: Participation and reflection of children – (Languages – Read a book other than a textbook and write a report, Math – prepare own problems and solutions, Science – prepare lab report on his/her own experiment, Social – express thoughts on current issues) – (10 marks)
ii. Tool 2: Written works (personal reflections in notebooks, field observations, data collection and analysis reports, creative writings, and so forth) (10 marks)
iii.Tool 3: Project Management – (Any other suitable tool may be developed by teacher preparation and presentation of Projects, Lab Activity, Model making, art, paintings etc.) (10 points)
iv.Tool 4: Slip test- A slip exam on selected Academic Standards will be conducted. There is no need to run slip tests according to a set schedule, as we do with our traditional unit test assessments. The teacher has the freedom to perform a slip exam in his usual classroom transaction because it is casual in character (20 marks)
